Why are we expanding?
Over many years in the residential and commercial business, we have seen several swings in momentum when it comes to growth in different cities in western Canada. In the early 2000's, Alberta was having an oil boom that propelled the economy to have substantial growth and a high demand for skilled trades.
Following the boom in Alberta, and the rapidly approaching winter Olympics of 2010, it was Vancouver's turn to see massive expansion and once again a high demand for skilled trades.
After the COVID19 pandemic ended, once again the migration into Alberta from both Ontario and BC is fueling a rapid growth mostly in Calgary, with Edmonton also seeing many new Canadians.
We feel that by opening offices and having skilled crews in both Vancouver and Calgary, we are in a position to not only grow as a company but also this gives us the ability to take advantage of the swings of growth between both provinces.

What happened to Image Painting in Vancouver?
Although most of our crew had already been painting for a long time, we first registered the name Image Painting in 2005. This name in painting has become synonymous with high quality finishes in both luxury, exclusive homes, as well as servicing the basic painting needs of both residential and commercial projects across the lower mainland.
However, in 2009, another company registered the name Image Painting and Fine Finishing Inc., based out of Langley, BC. While the other company is a fine and reputable company, over the years, we have many times been mistaken for that company or lost the opportunities to bid on projects as customers have contacted that company instead of ours mistakenly.
We explored using Image Painting in both Alberta and BC, but in both provinces, there were already many variations of the name registered or incorporated and we are aiming to avoid confusion with potential new clients.
To all of our long term clients in Vancouver: Everything is the same and the same painters that you have come to rely on for many years of painting services are still here and eager to continue to serve.
